The financier purchased a smaller island - Little St James - back in 1998, but acquired the more expansive Great St James in 2016 for around $22.5 million.
This visual evidence reveal he had created ambitious plans to develop the sprawling island by erecting living quarters, an open-air theater, an submerged workspace and a swimming pool.
